In 1922, the Hellenic School of our Community was formed with the purpose of teaching the Greek Language to the children of Hellenic descent.
Currently, Greek is taught as a second language to students ages 6 to 12 years old and meets every Wednesday from 4:30 p.m.- 5:30 p.m.
Following Greek School is Greek Dance for children from 5:30- 6:00 p.m.
Along with the Greek Language, our students are educated in history, art, georgraphy. Every year they present a program to commemorate March 25, 1821, Greek Independance Day.
